Added a video interview from Reportage Arte.

Rosenrot Cover

The Rosenrot cover has been released and can be found in the releases section. If it seems familiar to you, that's because it's basically the same exact cover as the Japanese version of the Reise, Reise album recycled with a few minor changes for the Rosenrot album.

I have added everything that has been submitted to me so far, so if you do not see your submission, try sending it again. This excludes fan fics because I think I am going to take that section of the site down soon since it is not looked at very often.

RammImages.com Update

From the moderating team at RammImages.com:
Minx received a letter from the lawyers of Rammstein today, which she has responded to. There is hope that the current situation will be resolved as soon as possible.

Whilst we await further development I am asking for the emails that people have been sending to management to end. We will give them the opportunity to reply positively. If this reply is not received then we will start again and we will then also issue press releases. Please send no more emails/snail mails to management or the shop until further notice.
I would like to also thank everyone for the fantastic support given, in the sending of mails, signing the petition and good moral support in general. The response has been incredible and shows what a great community Rammstein fans are!

thanks to all

I would also like to thank everyone for supporting Minx and her website, the way Rammstein fans have pulled together to help her site and Sebastian's site have been commendable.

RammImages.com

Management has posted a response, backpedaling as much as they can, to the RammImages.com Attack (this is copied directly from the official site, all rights reserved, no copyright infringement intended, blah blah blah).
Neither Rammstein nor their managment or lawyers have had shut down the www.rammimages.com site. The domain host was simply asked to remove some photos, for which this person does not own publishing rights. Rammstein signed many different contracts in collaboration with - among others - video directors, designers, graphic designers, record company, publishing company and also photographers. Those contracts agree on who what, when and where is allowed to publish, some of it - for instance - is exclusively, for intern usage or meant to be published at a later date. www.rammimages.com has published photos, which belong into this category and was therefore asked to remove the pictures from the site. Additionally, there were discussions about how to produce their own Rammstein shirts the best way on this page, the domain host was precautionary made aware, that the production of bootlegs is illegal and was asked to make their users aware of it. That was it! If the domain host uses the occasion to close the site, we can only (like any others) wonder.
Now, this is what the moderating team on Minx's forum had to say about that:
The declaration on Rammstein.com does not really tell how things are.

Minx has received a declaration to cease and desist from a lawyer, to close the picture gallery and to name those who provided the pics to her.
It was never said as a reason that there were or are contracts signed between Rammstein and others about the publishing of pics.
And minx was not "asked" to remove the pics, she was requested by laywers under the thretening of a penalty and damages with no amount mentioned right now, if the declaration is not sent to the lawyers til 09.09.05.

Concerning the "t-shirt" topic, they were meant as a campiagn for rammimages.com and the members of that forum. They all took care of NOT violating copyrights of Rammstein, everybody reading the whole thead concerning this topic could understand and see that.

As the management did not contact Minx before the letter of the lawyers was received it is no wonder that Minx decided to remove the site (for now), and the astonishment at the end of the offical statement is not really fitting.

I've known Minx for more than a year and I'm sure the truth is closer to her side than it is to management's side since, so far, this is almost a carbon copy of what happened to rammsteinfan.de before it shut down. Rammstein and their management do have a right to refuse that certain pictures or files be posted on the net, but the biggest complaint that most of us fans have is in the manner that they are disallowing it. A simple email to Minx would have sufficed, a cease and desist letter from a lawyer with the possibility of financial losses and being forced to disclose names of those who contributed images was very extreme. Management still seems to ignore the bigger problem of people selling images, bootlegs, pre-released material, and Rammstein items with fake nazi affiliations on ebay and profiting off of them, but I guess a FANsite with some copyright infringements (many of which Minx would not know about if the photographer signed a contract with management not to release those photos) that offers free publicity to the band is more important. Please continue sending your emails to management as this is definitely not over yet.

RammImages.com Forced to Close

Rammstein's management has struck again! Some of you may remember that in late July of 2004, RammsteinFan.de was sued by Rammstein and their management and Sebastian was forced to close his site. The new victim is Minx of RammImages.com who has been given a "cease and desist" letter in management's neverending attack of loyal Rammstein fansites because of some copyright issues over some of the images on her site. Minx is one of the most loyal Rammstein fans who has done what she could to make sure she only put up images on her site that she had permission for by the photographers, to protect the personal lives of the band members, and to protect the fans and the band themselves from the selling of illegal materials which could financially hurt the band. They repay her by forcing her to shut her site down. Since there is no contact information on rammstein.com, if you would like to send an email to management, please use the contact form in the official shop and hopefully the messages will be passed on to Emu, their manager.

You may have noticed that the galleries have been slightly redone, especially the music videos galleries. There might still be a couple of bugs to work out in those sections, so if you see any bugs (other than the music video names showing up as one word), please contact me.
