The show in Sacramento, CA has been moved to Inglewood, CA.
The California dates are all screwed up right now. It looks like there will be three dates, but I've seen seven different cities listed.
And now the lineup has changed slightly. No One will be playing Sept 14th-Oct 7th and American Head Charge will play the rest of the dates. This might be because another band might join the tour.

Ich Will Single

Ich Will is definitely the next single off of Mutter and there will be at least one remix by Westbam. I THINK a release date of September may have been mentioned.
Unfortunately, their fall tour seems to be pointing more towards Slipknot and this would probably have the guys as the supporting band.

During the New York show, two members of The Ramones and a member of The Misfits helped play Pet Sematary.

The show in Seattle, WA on July 7th was pyro-less. Here's the explanation that was given at the show. RAMMSTEIN PYRO PERMIT DENIED
The City of Seattle has denied Rammstein's application for the pyro display at this evening's show. As a result, though the band wants to do their full pyro display, Rammstein will not be allowed by The City to use any pyro as part of this evenings performance. Every effort was made by the band, promoter and the theater to obtain the permit, but it was denied by The City. We apologize for any inconvenience.

July 5, 2001

Tour Info

According to the lead singer of Crossbreed, some venues remaining in this tour will be "upgraded." I guess that means increased in size. Also, he said that Rammstein will probably be touring again in the Fall (around October) and he mentioned Australia and the US. I suggest that if you are in an area of the US currently not being represented in the tour, go to rammstein.com, to the contact section, and tell them you want to see Rammstein in your area!!!

Astoria Cancellation

Another statement from Rammstein concerning the Astoria gig: For avoiding more rumors about the cancelation of the show in London we send you a statement from Olli:
"When we are planning a show we always forward to the promoters a list of the effects that we want to use for the show. Our performance does not only exist from lyrics and music but is also costumes, light show and pyro effects.
If a promoter got problems with our "rider" , he will contact us, we discuss the problem and we usually find a compromise.
For example, not long ago a promoter told us that using the flame projectors were forbidden in his venue because of the low heights of the wooden ceiling. We took them out of our show but informed the audience in advance. So nobody was disappointed. First thing in the pyro rider it says that "all smoke detectors needed to be switched off during the show". Also it says "if the promoter or the venue owner would forsee any problems with any of the pyro we are performing he should inform us immediately". The London promoter and venue got this rider weeks in advance. The list was forwarded to the council who made an appointment for the demo in the afternoon of the showday.
During the demo the council and the house discovered that pyro actually produces smoke. They now informed us that turning off the smoke detectors were not possible and against the law which would have crippled the show. And they wanted to suppress us with the fact that the audience was already waiting outside and that we were to be blamed for their disappointment.
We do not want to disappoint our fans! The media in Britain announced our show as "hotter than hell" etc. Whoever comes to our show should become what we promised him or her. Therefore we have decided that we will return to London in autumn for a new performance in a venue that do allow to perform our show fully."
