About RammsteinNicCage.com

RammsteinNicCage.com was started September 5, 1999. In the beginning, I only knew very basic html. The site was originally hosted on a free angelfire account, but quicklz outgrew the space and bandwidth limitations. I upgraded to a paid host and expanded the site, particularly the photo galleries and multimedia sections. Over the years, I have become more advanced in html and xhtml, css positioning, and php which has allowed me to more efficiently update the site, add new featuers, and bring more content to you.

About Me

Paul and meMy name is Jennifer and I was born in September of 1981 and live in New York. I graduated from SUNY Stony Brook with a B.S. in geology and currently work at an environmental engineering company as a field hydrogeologist. My musical tastes are very varied - I typically listen to metal and harsh ebm bands like Rammstein, Megaherz, In Extremo, Feindflug, and Terrorfakt, but also listen to synth pop, classic rock, pop, rap, folk, and opera. Don't forget to check out my music recommendations!
How did I get into Rammstein? I have the album AEnema by Tool and there is a song on it called "Die Eier von Satan." I had no idea what the lyrics meant at the time, but the song sounded interesting in German. So, a few months later, during the summer of 1998, I received a phone call from my best friend telling me to put on MTV. TRL was playing the music video for Du Hast. Between the vocals, music, pyrotechnics, and the video's resemblance to Reservoir Dogs, it was love at first listen. Since then, I have been to four Rammstein concerts (and had tickets to three additional ones that were cancelled in 2001) and managed to get this picture with Paul after the July 2001 Las Vegas show. Yes, I'm having impure thoughts while I'm draped over him. You can read my review of the show and meeting some of the band members here. Just remember, I wrote this review a LONG time ago... it's really quite embarassing to go back and read it now!
I'm also the webmaster for the site InExtremo.org. In Extremo are a band from Germany that use your average metal instruments but also include non-traditional instruments, such as bagpipes and flutes. The lyrics tend to be hundreds of years old and in various European languages. I have many music videos and samples of their songs on that site, so check them out!

Contact me

If you are going to ask me a question, please check my FAQ and News sections first. I will NOT answer questions about the band members' personal lives, so do not ask. If your question is not answered in either, then contact me or use the forum. If you are looking for someone to have a conversation with, unfortunately I do not have the time. Try signing up on the forum where you can have discussions with many people. I do not always reply to emails. Questions I will usually reply to within a few days, submissions to the fanarea I may not reply to at all. If you do not see your submission on the site after other fan submissions have been uploaded, then I did not get it. Please contact me again. If you do want to submit something to the fanarea, please email me and I will give you my email address.

I will not answer questions that are clearly answered in the FAQ, especially questions asking about when and where Rammstein will tour.
